SweepLinks is built around a short workflow: enable the current site, start selection, drag across visible links, then apply the bulk action you want.

Getting Started

Quick setup

    Open a normal http or https page.
  2. 2
    Click the SweepLinks extension icon.
  3. 3
    Enable SweepLinks for that site.
  4. 4
    Start Selection and drag across visible links or result titles.
Troubleshooting

Common fixes

  • If Start Selection is disabled, enable the current site first.
  • If no links are selected, drag across visible link text or result rows instead of empty page areas.
  • If a page is unsupported, try a standard search results page, issue list, or directory page with visible links.
  • If the keyboard shortcut does not work, use the popup once and confirm the site is enabled.
  • If a run opens too much, use Stop Current Batch or Close tabs from last run in the popup.

  • Page URL Include the webpage where the issue happened.
  • Selected action Note whether you were opening tabs, opening a window, copying links, or saving bookmarks.
  • Expected vs actual behavior Describe what you expected SweepLinks to do and what happened instead.
